The Cenotaph

The Cenotaph was built in 1930 and early 1931 by the local unemployed and unveiled on Anzac Day 1931 by the Mayor Cr. Ritchie.  In addition to the Memorial, the Council Committee also made recommendations regarding the layout of the surrounds.

Following the Second World War, Council decided to include an inscription to recognize the contribution made by Caulfield residents during that war.
