The Council has put a lot of effort into its play areas and the three in the park are all well used.

Aviary Garden Play Area off Inkerman Road

Picture
This play area has had a lot of recent development and is close to the 'Aviary Garden', midway along the park, off Inkerman Road.

It is ideal for younger (pre-school) children.  There are nearby barbecues, seats, toilet facilities and a shelter.  Ample off-road parking.

Eastern Playground off Crescent Road

Picture
This is the largest of the play areas with the most facilities and while catering to all ages, is best suited for older children.

There are nearby barbecues, seats, toilet facilities and a shelter.

Central-Western Play Area near Croquet Club

Picture
This is the smallest playground, best suited to pre-school children.
It is now the site of some interesting  wooden sculptures (see sculptures in the park).

There are nearby barbecues and seats but toilet facilities are some distance at Caulfield Junction or the Sports Pavilion .
Ample off-road parking.
